Lay your card on a table with the painting facing up, then hold your camera over it.
Turn your sound on for the music. Your camera is only used to find the painting, and nothing is recorded or saved.

Spring 2026, Kyoto
Dear traveller,
Welcome to Kyoto. In this edition of Ink Trails we are walking up Ninenzaka, an old stone lane in the Higashiyama district that winds towards Kiyomizu-dera. It is spring, the cherry trees are in flower, and the street is just waking up.
While you are here, you can:
Tap a lantern to light it, and tap it again to let it rest.
Tap the painting or the table to send blossoms into the air. Every tap plays a note, so you can play your own little tune.
Move your phone slowly around the card to watch the blossoms drift through the air and settle on the table.
Turn your sound up, pour a cup of tea, and stay as long as you like.
Until the next trail,
P.S. Keep your ticket and stamp somewhere safe. Every destination has its own.
